What is processed when you visit this website.
Server logs at the hosting provider
The website runs at a hosting provider. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
Each time a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data. This is the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, and the browser and operating system, where your browser sends this information.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website, for example to fend off attacks and fix errors.
The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Server logs are kept for at most eight weeks, with IP addresses anonymised.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies. It does not use analytics or tracking tools, and it does not show advertising.
Light or dark mode
The website has a switch for a light and a dark display. When you use it, your browser stores your choice in local storage (localStorage) under the name “df-theme” with the value “light” or “dark”.
The entry stays on your device and is not sent to us. It is strictly necessary for the display you have chosen (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, TKG 2021). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts, images and videos
Fonts, images and videos load from the server of this website. When you open a page, the website does not connect to third-party servers such as font services, video platforms or content delivery networks.
Links to other services
The website contains links to other services, for example LinkedIn or Instagram. These are plain links. As long as you do not follow one of them, no data is sent to these services. When you follow a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies.
What happens to your enquiry.
You can reach us by e-mail or phone. This website has no contact form. The enquiry links open your own e-mail program with a prepared subject line. The website itself does not send any data.
We process the information you give us, for example your name, organisation, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. We use it to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns a contract or steps prior to a contract. In all other cases it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to answer enquiries.
We keep the data until your enquiry is closed. We keep it longer only where a statutory retention obligation applies, for example under company or tax law.
Our e-mail provider processes e-mails on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. It is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified.
Access, erasure, objection and complaint
Under the GDPR you have these rights towards us:
- access to the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- notification of a rectification, erasure or restriction to the recipients of your data (Art. 19 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
An e-mail to office@dropforce.at is enough to make a request.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
After an objection we no longer process this data. This does not apply if we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You can object informally. The simplest way is an e-mail to office@dropforce.at.
Complaint to the data protection authority
If you believe that we do not process your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
Provision of data and automated decisions
You are not obliged by law or by contract to provide personal data to us. Without the technically necessary connection data, however, the server cannot deliver the website. Without contact details we cannot answer an enquiry.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, and we do not create profiles.
We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
